Join us for this Indoor all-levels Vinyasa inspired class. Each week will bring a unique focus to strengthen your practice and explore a variety of styles. From Happy Hips to Yang/Yin fusion, classes will incorporate breath, strength, and flexibility. Come ready to sweat, smile, and feel restored.

*Please bring your own yoga mat, labeled water bottle, hand sanitizer, shoes and mask must be worn.

*Physical distancing will be in place at all times. All other Alberta Health Services guidelines will be strictly followed. Please arrive early enough to ensure that class can start on time

Mat Pilates is a type of mind-body exercise that promotes not only strength, tone, and

flexibility, but also improves your posture and reduces stress. The mat Pilates method aims to strengthen your core or "Powerhouse", lengthen the spine, build muscle tone, and increase body awareness. Following the six principles of control, breath, flow, precision, centering, and stability will help you gain all of these benefits while maintaining your body safely. The mat Pilates exercises are based on the resistance provided by your body's weight and gravity, and the workout is performed on the ground using an exercise mat. Once adding a mat Pilates workout in your routine and experiencing its benefits, it will provide the foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits.

This class is packed full of high-intensity aerobic interval training, strength, and core exercises, designed to challenge your entire body and keep your muscles guessing. By training this way, you’ll burn more calories in less time compared to moderate aerobic activities. You’ll also improve your strength, endurance, speed, agility, coordination, and balance. A sense of camaraderie is encouraged among the participants and all fitness levels are welcome, as modifications are offered when needed.

Be your own bartender tonight! Mix it up and take part in an interactive cocktail mixology workshop filled with drinks, laughs and an all around good time!

 

Learn how to make classic cocktails as well as information on garnishes, bitters, syrups and more! Make (and drink) a variety of Spring inspired cocktails while learning the art of mixology! You supply the alcohol; we’ll provide the rest! Attendees will most likely need Vodka, Gin and Whisky.

 

Deadline to register is Friday April 16th at 12pm. Kits are to be picked up at the Beach Club on April 23rd 2021 and is enough for 1 individual. This workshop is open to residents and non-residents.

This online session will be on Wednesdays, May 5-26, at 7:00 pm via zoom platform and it’s easy to connect and use ones’ device to attend the meeting: mobile, iPad, or computer, and if you have a smart tv you can mirror the class in a bigger screen.
