Technique, play, performance, and expression mingle together perfectly to create a positive and energetic learning environment. Please dress in something you can move in. BollyX is a Bollywood-inspired high-intensity dance workout. It not only includes rhythms of Bollywood music but also incorporates sounds from south India, Indian folk, and desi-pop. It is a very inclusive and extremely beginner-friendly workout class. Join our signature GirlStrong multi-sport class and explore and play different sports every few weeks. We may play volleyball, lacrosse, softball, tennis, soccer, basketball and more in a FUN, empowering, and caring environment. Every girl will leave each class with an enhanced sense of what it means to be strong in body, mind and team, and experience the joy in sport. As always, attention to teamwork, sportsmanship, self-esteem, respect, leadership, resiliency, and goal setting are incorporated into our program as well.   This package includes the following: ​ a. Take home worksheets that reinforce the lessons or skills learned   b. You'll see an increase in self-confidence, coordination, ability to focus, general awareness, moderation, respect for others, and more appreciation for world values. Beginners simply learn, while the advanced polish their skills. Students need to purchase their uniforms online or from the instructor for about $50, but a uniform is not required to start. Personal protective equipment (helmet, shin protectors, and gloves) costs about $120 and is required starting with the second term. Occasionally, there might be additional costs for other equipment, belt gradings, or participation in related events (T-shirts, tournaments, inviting an advanced instructor, camps, etc). As applicable, students/parents must check with their doctor or medical clinic if medical conditions would prevent moderate to intense physical activities prior to attending classes and if allowed to participate, the instructor needs to be informed about any such medical conditions. The Babysitting course refreshed and revised, now has a greater emphasis on First Aid skills. The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviors to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency.   CourseContent

The programs reinforce the benefits of teamwork and skills development rather than the importance of winning, which enables children to gain confidence and develop the social skills necessary to succeed in sport and life. This class is appropriate for all levels!

This 1-day in-person session instructed by Impact First Aid & CPR is to educate youth aged 9 to 13 years on basic first aid and safety skills for when they are not under the direct supervision of a guardian or parent.The Stay Safe! program teaches applicable and age-appropriate skills while increasing and reinforcing a youth’s capacity to improve his or her own safety. Whether in their community or on their own, this group will be given better tools to Stay Safe! in a variety of different situations.Attendance is required to receive a certificate of completion:Participants will receive a Red Cross Stay Safe! manual, and a certificate upon completion of the program. Course Content:

  • Importance of responsibility and respect while being accountable for yourself
  • Importance of setting and following rules around safety when staying on your own
  • How to stay safe at home and within the community
