’Tis the Season to Give
Help bring joy to a child in need this holiday season by participating in the Good Samaritan Christmas Shoebox Drive at Lake Summerside. It’s a simple act of kindness that makes a world of difference!
How to participate:
- Pick up a shoebox from the Beach Club.
- Fill it with thoughtful gifts for a child in need. Be sure to select items appropriate for a Boy or Girl and mark the age group on the label provided.
- Include a $12 donation to cover shipping costs. Place it in an envelope inside the box, or hand it in at drop-off. (Boxes without the donation cannot be accepted.)
- Drop off your filled shoebox at the Beach Club by November 17, 2025 (or no later than November 19 if you miss the initial date). We’ll take care of the delivery to the collection center!
Alternatively, you may deliver your gift directly to any participating church during National Collection Week: November 17–23, 2025. Find a drop-off location at: samaritanspurse.ca/drop-off-locations
What NOT to include:
- Candy, chocolate, food, gum, or drink mixes
- Toothpaste, liquids, lotions, medications, or vitamins
- Used, damaged, breakable, or war-related items
- Seeds, fruit snacks, aerosol cans, or snow globes
