This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to demystify meditation and show you how simple, evidence-based practices can help you manage stress, boost focus, and improve your overall well-being—no experience required.
What to Expect:
- A clear, down-to-earth introduction to the science behind meditation
- Insight into how meditation supports the nervous system, reduces anxiety, and improves emotional regulation
- Easy techniques you can use anywhere—at work, at home, or on the go
- A short, guided meditation session to experience it for yourself
- Tips on how to build a practice that fits into real life (even if you’re busy)

Intro to Meditation – Session Overview (1.5 hours)
Facilitator: Chantal Menard | Certified Breathwork & Meditation Facilitator
1. Connection + Intention (10 min)
Welcome, introductions, and creating a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere.
Invite participants to share what drew them to meditation and their intention.
2. Understanding Stress (15 min)
Explore the science of stress — how thoughts and environment affect the nervous system.
Introduce meditation as a simple, accessible practice for restoring balance and calm.
3. The Practice of Meditation (30 min)
Explain what meditation is (and isn’t).
Share benefits such as calm, clarity, and focus.
Guide participants through a breath-centered meditation and short mantra practice.
4. Integrating Meditation (20 min)
Lead participants through a longer guided meditation designed to deepen presence and awareness.
Create space for embodied reflection through breath, stillness, and silence.
5. Reflection + Closing (10 min)
Invite insights or questions from participants.
Close with a short grounding meditation or gratitude reflection.
Provide optional resources for continued practice.
Attendees to Bring:
- A yoga mat, cushion, or chair for sitting comfortably
- A journal (optional, for reflection)
- Water or tea
- Curiosity and an open mind

With over two decades of experience in Human Resources and leadership, Chantal understands the pressure of high-performance environments—and what happens when we lose alignment along the way. After years of helping others succeed, she found herself needing to slow down, breathe, and reconnect.
Through meditation and breathwork, Chantal rediscovered balance, clarity, and purpose. She is a Certified Breathwork and Meditation Facilitator through the Lifestyle Meditation & Breathwork Academy, founded by global mindfulness expert Mandy Trapp, and a Certified Workplace Health & Performance Ambassador through Wellness Works Canada. Her sessions weave together principles of stress management, spiritual psychology, and neuroscience to help people restore calm, focus, and alignment—one breath at a time.
