Ice & Lake Update Feb. 10/22
In an effort to preserve our ice surfaces and due to excessive water pooling, we are temporarily closing the rinks starting today Thursday, February 10th. Due to the warm temperatures, they have not been low enough for us to repair the damages. We are expecting cooler temperatures in the next couple of nights, however, we’re at the mercy of the weather. We will continue to monitor the rinks as best we can as we anticipate reopening for this Saturday, February 12th!
Based off our most recent ice measurements, the lake ice still remains safe for foot traffic. To ensure everyone’s safety, ice surfaces will be evaluated on a daily basis. Please be sure to use extreme caution, look out for any large cracks and water seeping, and contact us immediately if you see these concerns.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope to see you at the Beach Club to enjoy other winter activities. We thank you for your continued patience and understanding. Please stay tuned for any updates.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call the office at 780-497-7558 or the gatehouse at 780-756-6772.
