Movie in the Park | Postponed

Hi Summerside,

We know how much our community loves Movie in the Park, which is why we’re so disappointed to share that we’ll need to postpone the event originally scheduled for this Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Unfortunately, due to the forecast calling for potential storms and 5–10mm of rain, our screen rental provider is unable to operate under these weather conditions safely.

But don’t worry — the show will go on! We’ve rescheduled Movie in the Park Sponsored by True Blue Swim School to Sunday, September 7th, and we’re excited to share that we’ll be screening:

 🎬Moana 2 at 1:00 PM

🎬The Goonies at 3:00 PM

Be sure to bring your appetite! Enjoy delicious eats from:

• Kona Ice (cool, refreshing shaved ice)
• Street Tacos YEG (authentic, flavour-packed tacos)
• Elephant Ears (a sweet fan favourite!)

Expect the same cozy atmosphere, along with your favourite food trucks and a perfect afternoon at the lake.

And if you can’t make it, don’t fret — our Spook & Screen Drive-In Sponsored by Rhonda Navratil of RE/MAX River City  is just around the corner on October 18th! This RSVP-only event is the perfect way to kick off spooky season, featuring Beetlejuice 2 and Five Nights at Freddy’s. Tickets go on sale August 15th, so mark your calendars and check out our website for more details.
