Bullying affects almost everyone from the victims to the bullies themselves, let us help teach your children how to understand bullying, how to act to prevent it, how to feel about it when it happens, and how to prevent it from happening to others. The Impact Martial Arts Bully Prevention Program is based on the Hyper Defense Bullying System and The Olweus Bully Prevention System which are the most scientifically researched bullying programs in the world. We teach children, parents, and educators the dynamics of Bullying, its causes, consequences, and its prevention. Children will learn how to think about bullying before and during a bullying situation as well as how to act to avoid bullying. We inform students how to act after a bullying incident has occurred, and how to be a protector in further bullying. Our experience in martial arts also gives us the expertise in when and how to physically respond to bullying, when to take action and when not to. We teach verbal de-escalation, how to be ready to physically respond, and what level of physical response is appropriate. Our Focus on Bullying is as much mental as it is physical. Physical skills are blended with mental skills during instruction to keep the pace interesting for participants and help students absorb and remember concepts. Impact's goal in teaching bullying prevention is to build a better community through education and confidence. You will need:

  • Internet Access
  • Windows, Mac, or Chromebook Computer
  • Internet Browser
  • Webcam (most laptops have this built-in)
  • Microphone & Speakers (most laptops have this built-in.)
  • Parents should also be on hand to simulate, hold targets, or listen to bullying skills.
